Last updated June 17, 2026.
Effective date: June 17, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Ironwood Royalty ("we," "us," or "our"), operating the website ironwoodroyalty.com (the "Site"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you use the Site, including our property valuation tool and lead forms. By using the Site or submitting information through it, you agree to this Policy.
1. Who we are
Ironwood Royalty buys oil and gas mineral and royalty interests directly from owners. We operate as a service-area business based in Grapevine, Texas, and serve mineral and royalty owners across Texas and other producing states. For privacy questions, contact us using the details in Section 10.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide. When you use our valuation tool, request a valuation, or submit a lead or contact form, we may collect:
- Your name.
- Your contact information, including email address and phone number.
- The county and state of your mineral or royalty interest.
- Details about your royalty or ownership interest that you choose to share, such as the operator, your average monthly royalty check, net mineral acres, royalty fraction, unit size, interest type, and how you came to own the interest.
- Any other information you include in messages to us.
2.2 Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and timestamps, through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8).
2.3 We do not seek to collect sensitive categories of information beyond what is described above. Please do not submit information we have not requested. Our on-screen estimator computes a value range in your browser and stores nothing; information is only collected when you submit it through a form.
3. How we collect it
We collect the information in Section 2.1 directly from you, through the valuation lead form and contact forms on the Site. We collect the information in Section 2.2 automatically through cookies and analytics tools as you use the Site.
4. Consent for contact (email, phone, and SMS)
4.1 General. By submitting a form, you consent to our using the information you provide to respond to your request and to contact you about it.
4.2 Separate consent for calls and text messages. Consent to be contacted by telephone call or text message (SMS) is requested separately from consent to be contacted by email, and is not required to use the valuation tool or to receive a valuation. We will ask for your express opt-in before placing marketing or autodialed calls or sending marketing text messages to the phone number you provide. If you opt in to texts, message and data rates may apply, message frequency varies, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP or by contacting us. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any such email.
4.3 Our consent wording, recordkeeping, and opt-out handling are being finalized to meet current telephone and text-message marketing law before any calls or texts are sent.
5. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide the valuation tool and respond to your requests.
- Prepare and deliver a valuation or related information.
- Contact you about your inquiry, subject to the consent rules in Section 4.
- Evaluate, improve, and operate the Site and our services.
- Share opportunities with acquisition partners as described in Section 6, where you have agreed or where permitted by law.
- Comply with law and protect our rights and the rights of others.
6. How we share your information
6.1 Acquisition partners. We may share the information you provide with acquisition partners and similar third parties so they can evaluate and follow up on your mineral or royalty interest. Where required, we will obtain your agreement to this sharing before it occurs.
6.2 Service providers. We may share information with vendors who perform services for us, such as hosting, analytics, communications, and lead management, who are permitted to use it only to provide those services.
6.3 Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of any person.
6.4 Business transfers. We may disclose or transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
6.5 We do not sell your information for money. If any sharing described above is treated as a "sale" or "sharing" under a state privacy law, we will provide the rights and choices that law requires (see Section 11).
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, including responding to your request, operating our services, and meeting legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, after which we delete or de-identify it, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
8. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, and measure traffic and performance, including through analytics providers. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work properly if you disable cookies. Where required, we will present a cookie notice or consent banner.
